NTPC, in collaboration with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has unveiled its cutting-edge hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Bus (FCEB) at the heart of Mahakumbh 2025. The initiative aims to provide visitors and dignitaries with a firsthand experience of a green mobility solution. The bus is on display throughout the Mahakumbh event, showcasing NTPC's efforts in promoting sustainable transportation. Supported by the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM), NTPC has developed Green Hydrogen refueling stations in Greater Noida and Bhubaneswar, along with deploying these advanced buses capable of storing significant amounts of hydrogen and covering long distances before needing a refill. Notably, these buses emit only clean water vapor, aligning with NTPC's commitment to decarbonization and energy security. Beyond Mahakumbh, NTPC continues to lead in green mobility initiatives, such as launching Green Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses in Leh and establishing the Green Hydrogen Hub Project in Andhra Pradesh. The company's partnership with Deendayal Port Authority in Gujarat further underscores its dedication to fostering green energy and mobility technologies, emphasizing a sustainable future.
