During a state visit to Belgium by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Oman and Belgium solidified their commitment to green hydrogen by signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom) and the Belgian Hydrogen Council (BHC). This landmark agreement marks a significant step in advancing the global hydrogen economy, emphasizing collaborative efforts across the hydrogen value chain. The collaboration aims to align policies, exchange knowledge, and explore opportunities in hydrogen production, infrastructure, transportation, and utilization. The agreement builds on over four decades of strong bilateral relations, including key projects like the Hyport Duqm project, emphasizing Oman's growing position as a global hydrogen hub.
