ORLEN has opened its second public hydrogen station in Katowice, Poland, supplied by a hydrogen HUB in Włocławek. This expansion brings the ORLEN Group's total of public hydrogen refuelling stations to four, with two in Poland and two in the Czech Republic. The new facility, strategically located at a traditional fuel station operating 24/7, caters to both commercial and private hydrogen-powered vehicles. It offers a 350-bar system for buses/trucks and a 700-bar option for passenger cars, with a capacity to fuel up to 20 buses and five passenger vehicles daily. The company plans to launch more hydrogen refuelling facilities in cities like Bielsko-Biała, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Wałbrzych, and others as part of the Clean Cities project, with a vision to establish an international network of over 100 hydrogen stations by 2030, connecting Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. This initiative reflects ORLEN's dedication to promoting sustainable and innovative mobility solutions, contributing to the adoption of cleaner energy sources in the transportation sector.
