Hans Group Holdings Limited and its subsidiary, Citybus Limited, have partnered with Grand Resource Hydrogen Energy Science & Technology Co.,Ltd. to promote hydrogen transportation and expedite hydrogen supply in Hong Kong. This collaboration aims to support the development of the hydrogen energy industry and align with various government strategies for carbon neutrality and hydrogen development. Grand Resource will ensure a daily hydrogen supply to Hans Group and Citybus under favorable terms, with a focus on promoting hydrogen applications in public transportation. Additionally, there are plans to support Grand Resource's liquid hydrogen project in Dongguan to enhance the hydrogen supply chain. Hans Group's CEO emphasized the company's shift towards new energy sectors and green development, highlighting the significance of hydrogen as a promising low-carbon energy source. The agreement reflects a strategic move towards sustainability and aligns with the Greater Bay Area Development Plan, emphasizing the importance of hydrogen in the energy transition for both the central government and the HKSAR government.
