Cargolux and Arthur Welter, two companies based in Luxembourg, have joined forces to embark on a groundbreaking project involving a hydrogen-powered truck. The collaboration aims to conduct a two-year trial for a dedicated trucking service powered by hydrogen between Luxembourg and Frankfurt. The partnership signifies a pivotal moment in showcasing the feasibility of hydrogen transport within the logistics sector. The specially adapted vehicle, with a range of approximately 400 kilometers, will operate five times a week on behalf of Cargolux. Due to the limited availability of hydrogen fueling facilities in the region, the truck will be refueled at both ends of the journey.
