Solaris Bus & Coach has delivered the first batch of 137 ordered hydrogen buses to Bologna and Ferrara, Italy, in collaboration with transport operator TPER. The deployment of the Urbino 12 hydrogen buses aims to revolutionize public transport in the Emilia-Romagna region, improving air quality and well-being for residents. These zero-emission buses operate quietly and sustainably, powered by a fuel cell that combines hydrogen with oxygen, emitting only water vapor.
