Wrightbus has successfully delivered 31 hydrogen buses to RVK in Cologne and is now focusing on expanding its presence in Europe. The company is currently testing the buses before they are put into service in the region. In addition to the Cologne order, Wrightbus has secured deals for hydrogen buses with other operators and is set to open a new European service centre in Bruhl. CEO Jean-Marc Gales commended the production team for their efforts and expressed optimism about the company's growth in Europe. The new service centre in Bruhl will provide maintenance and support for buses, and Wrightbus is hiring staff to facilitate operations in France and Benelux. Gales also thanked RVK and partners for their collaboration in making the deal successful, highlighting the dedication of the engineering and production teams.
