Ballymena based bus manufacturer Wrightbus is experiencing remarkable growth in 2025, with nearly 200 new buses already in service across the UK and Europe in January. Last year, Wrightbus was recognized as the fastest growing bus manufacturer in the UK and Europe, indicating a positive trend. The company delivered over 160 buses to Manchester and more than 30 to Germany, contributing to public transport networks. Notably, 31 hydrogen-powered buses were introduced in Germany, enhancing RVK's public transport hydrogen bus fleet, the largest in Europe. Additionally, Wrightbus inaugurated its European service center, AllServiceOne, in Brühl, ensuring efficient maintenance for various bus types in the region. With plans to produce over 1,200 buses in 2025, Wrightbus aims to meet increasing demand and strengthen its presence. CEO Jean-Marc Gales expressed confidence in the company's future, highlighting substantial orders and the strategic investment in the Brühl service center.
