Indian Railways has set a groundbreaking milestone by unveiling the most powerful hydrogen fuel-run train engine in the world, boasting an impressive output of 1,200 horsepower. During a panel discussion at the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Bhubaneswar, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Minister of Railways, expressed India's pride in achieving this feat using indigenous technology. The engine's horsepower output surpasses that of any other country, with existing hydrogen-powered trains producing between 500 to 600 horsepower.
