Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Andhra Pradesh, specifically Visakhapatnam, to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several infrastructural projects totaling over Rs 2.15 lakh crore. One of the key highlights of his visit was the launch of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub Project at Pudimadaka near Visakhapatnam. This project, with an investment of approximately Rs 1,85,000 crore, is the first Green Hydrogen Hub under the National Green Hydrogen Mission. It aims to produce 1500 TPD Green Hydrogen and other derivatives to target the export market, contributing significantly to India's renewable energy goals. Additionally, PM Modi dedicated various railway and road projects, including the South Coast Railway Headquarters at Visakhapatnam, to enhance connectivity and reduce congestion. The foundation stones for the Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli and Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Tirupati District were also laid during the visit, emphasizing job creation and economic growth. These initiatives are expected to create a substantial number of direct and indirect jobs, driving regional progress and aligning with India's ambitious energy and sustainability targets.
