In Barcelona, Spain, hydrogen-powered trains are marking a significant shift in the transportation sector, with expert Beatriz Nieto from the National Hydrogen Center affirming their viability as an alternative to traditional fossil fuel trains. The completion of successful trials in Spain and Portugal has highlighted the potential for hydrogen trains to align with the countries' hydrogen roadmap, aiming for two hydrogen lines in Spain by 2030.
