Naguib emphasized the promising nature of the Saudi market for hydrogen, especially in the context of green energy supply to Asia. The company aims to establish its presence in Saudi Arabia in the first half of 2024, showcasing a strategic alignment between Egyptian and Saudi markets in the green hydrogen sector. Saudi Arabia's potential in green hydrogen production and distribution positions it to lead Asia in this sector, with expectations of supplying various energy applications to multiple countries. Discussions are underway with the Saudi Public Investment Fund to set up the Saudi Hydrogen Company, with detailed deliberations planned during the first hydrogen conference in Egypt. The global hydrogen market, valued at $150 billion in 2020, is anticipated to reach $600 billion by 2050, with Hydrogen Egypt estimating the current value to be between $200 to $300 billion, indicating substantial growth potential in the sector.
