The Johor delegation, led by Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, plans to visit Sarawak to bolster collaboration and share expertise in renewable energy development. Hasni highlighted the potential for Johor to learn from Sarawak's intention to export renewable energy to Singapore using hydrogen technology. This collaboration also aims to explore the viability of hydrogen as an energy source. The recent unveiling of Sarawak's Sarawak Energy Transition Policy (SET-P) at the Asia Pacific Green Hydrogen Conference and Exhibition 2024 underlines the state's commitment to a sustainable and prosperous energy future. The SET-P, emphasized by Sarawak's Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, focuses on innovation, inclusivity, and global best practices. It envisions a comprehensive approach integrating policy, regulation, technology, infrastructure, and community engagement, with key enablers to propel Sarawak towards a sustainable transition while ensuring economic growth.
