PFC Consulting Ltd., a subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Ltd., has launched a global invitation for bids to develop inter-state transmission projects in Gujarat on a Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) basis. These projects aim to support green hydrogen, ammonia manufacturing, and renewable energy zones. The bidding process involves selecting Transmission Service Providers (TSP) for major transmission projects to ensure reliable power transmission to large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing facilities. Three key projects have been outlined, including transmission systems for green hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing plants in the Kandla and Mundra regions of Gujarat. Bidders are required to purchase RFP documents by December 2024 and submit bids accordingly. This initiative is part of India's broader goal to expand its renewable energy infrastructure and support its green hydrogen ambitions, contributing to the country's transition towards sustainable energy sources.
