ACME Cleantech has signed a Heads of Agreement with BASF to supply green ammonia to Europe and explore further collaboration in the green ammonia business. The partnership is focused on sustainability and innovation, covering the entire value chain from production to market development. ACME aims to drive positive change by enabling customers to produce more sustainably and setting a benchmark for sustainable industrial practices globally. The collaboration with BASF also aims to drive cross-border cooperation, reinforce decarbonisation commitments, and accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen and ammonia. ACME previously signed a firm agreement with Yara for the supply of ammonia with reduced CO2 emissions on a long-term basis. Additionally, ACME is working on a green ammonia project in Oman with a planned capacity of 900,000 tonnes per annum, to be developed in phases. The company envisions becoming a leading green energy provider by 2030, with a target of producing 10 million tonnes per annum of green ammonia and hydrogen.
