In a collaborative effort, Carrefour, HysetCo, the European Commission, and Île-de-France Région have unveiled three new hydrogen stations in Paris. These stations, strategically located at Carrefour hypermarkets in Drancy, Collégien, and Pontault-Combault, aim to drive the decarbonization of mobility and enhance air quality in the region. Each station is equipped to dispense 500 kg of hydrogen per day, catering to 100 to 200 daily fill-ups for cars and light commercial vehicles. Carrefour's Fuel Business Unit Director, Hervé Mantoux, emphasized the company's commitment to the energy transition through this initiative. Additionally, HysetCo's network in Paris will now boast a total of eight operational hydrogen stations, with plans for further expansion by establishing a dozen new sites in the future. The project, which received co-funding from the European Commission and Île-de-France Region, is part of a broader initiative to establish a network of eight hydrogen stations in the region, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
