Centravis, a Ukraine-based seamless stainless steel pipe producer, has secured a deal with Germany-based Voss Fluid for supplying seamless stainless steel pipes. Voss Fluid specializes in hydraulic connections for projects involving hydrogen and compressed natural gas. The annual supply volume is anticipated to be in tens of tons, with Centravis foreseeing a rise in orders as hydrogen projects gain traction. In the first half of the current year, the company ramped up its production, reaching 6,880 metric tons of seamless stainless steel pipes, representing a notable increase of nine percent compared to the previous year. Additionally, Centravis has recently expanded its operations by commencing production at the Uzhgorod plant in western Ukraine. This strategic move is aimed at catering to the growing demand for seamless stainless steel pipes and further solidifying their position in the market. The collaboration between Centravis and Voss Fluid highlights the importance of steel in the development of hydrogen infrastructure and signifies a significant step towards promoting sustainability and clean energy in Europe.
