Everfuel A/S has recently opened a hydrogen refuelling station at the Frankfurt municipal bus company In-der-City-Bus' bus depot in Germany. The station is aimed at servicing 23 zero-emission fuel cell buses that are utilized for daily city and municipal public transportation. Everfuel, the developer of the refuelling station, will supply hydrogen to ICB under a minimum three-year contract using its hydrogen trailers. The company's Sales Director, Lars Jakobsen, expressed satisfaction in celebrating the inauguration of the refuelling station, highlighting its significance in making hydrogen accessible for heavy-duty mobility fleets, starting in Germany. This initiative aligns with Everfuel's strategy to enhance large-scale production of green hydrogen in Denmark and provide customers across Europe with clean energy solutions, beginning with Germany. The hydrogen depot station at ICB has the capability to refuel a minimum of 23 fuel cell buses daily, with room for capacity scaling as demand increases. Following the opening of the ICB station, Everfuel is set to supply hydrogen to additional dedicated bus stations, with Wuppertal bus station in Germany slated to be the next addition to its portfolio. Everfuel's overarching goal is to make green hydrogen available for zero-emission industry and mobility initiatives throughout Europe by offering competitive hydrogen supply and fuelling solutions.
