IVECO is set to partner with Metallica on the band’s European leg of the M72 World Tour to drive the reduction of CO2 emissions and support sustainable actions. The collaboration includes providing a multi-energy fleet for logistics, with vehicles powered by natural gas, electric, and renewable diesel, alongside the introduction of a fuel cell electric truck. Shell will refuel the vehicles using low-carbon fuels. The fleet, personalized with a Metallica livery, aims to promote sustainable transport and reduce the band's carbon footprint. By using alternative propulsion vehicles, Metallica and IVECO aim to significantly decrease CO2 emissions in heavy-duty transport. The partnership also focuses on social responsibility and environmental sustainability. IVECO's Centro Stile has designed a special Metallica-inspired livery for the fleet, featuring limited edition trucks inspired by the band's album. The collaboration will engage truck drivers through unique activities, including a contest and a digital tool for fan engagement. This initiative highlights the importance of sustainability and innovation in the transportation sector.
