In late November 2024, a significant partnership between RP Global and GIZ was inaugurated at the Argentine-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Argentina) headquarters in Buenos Aires. The partnership, aimed at advancing green hydrogen and green ammonia projects in Argentina, garnered participation from key stakeholders including government officials, representatives from Santa Cruz province, National Congress members, and companies in the renewable energy and green hydrogen sectors. The collaboration, part of the International Hydrogen Ramp-Up Programme (H2Uppp) initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), is set to support Argentina in the development of projects for both domestic consumption and potential export to Europe and Germany.
