Lhyfe, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, has achieved a notable milestone in the United Kingdom with two of its green hydrogen projects being shortlisted under the Hydrogen Allocation Round 2 (HAR2) by the UK government. The projects located in Wallsend and Kemsley signify Lhyfe's commitment to advancing hydrogen production capabilities. The Kemsley site, boasting an impressive 80 MW capacity, targets the generation of up to 32 tonnes of green hydrogen on a daily basis. Similarly, the Wallsend site, with a capacity of 20 MW, aims to produce around 8 tonnes of green hydrogen daily. These substantial outputs are intended to cater to local industries, playing a crucial role in supporting the UK's decarbonisation initiatives.
