  • The stations, catering to material handling and mobility needs, are nearing full operational capacity, benefiting customers like Amazon, Renault, and other major companies.
  • Plug's turnkey solutions include building the stations and delivering hydrogen from their generators, contributing to efficiency gains and supporting the shift to green hydrogen for sustainability goals.
  • With a focus on green hydrogen usage, Plug's solutions not only address grid constraints but also help customers meet corporate sustainability targets through the adoption of hydrogen fuel cell technology.
Plug Power Inc. has achieved a milestone by completing the deployment of 13 hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) across Europe in the last two years. These HRS installations are strategically placed in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, supporting various material handling and mobility applications. The ongoing commissioning phase has already made many systems operational, with the remaining stations expected to be fully functional by the summer. Notable customers benefiting from these stations include Amazon, Renault, Lidl, ASDA, Stef, and more, alongside serving Plug's internal operations and HYVIA locations, a joint venture with Renault for hydrogen fuel cell electric commercial vehicles. The largest site is projected to consume around half a ton of hydrogen daily. Plug's comprehensive HRS solutions cover station construction and hydrogen delivery from their generators, contributing to efficiency gains and environmentally friendly practices. With an extensive global presence, Plug has established itself as a leader in hydrogen refueling stations, having built over 250 worldwide. By supporting the transition from lead acid battery-powered to hydrogen fuel cell-powered equipment, Plug is helping its customers overcome grid constraints and achieve sustainability goals. The usage of green hydrogen at these sites not only enhances efficiency but also aligns with corporate sustainability objectives, demonstrating the positive impact of hydrogen technology in the commercial sector.
