SPE Offshore Europe 2025 is set to return to Aberdeen from 2-5 September 2025 with the theme 'Unlocking Europe's Potential in Offshore Energy.' The conference, led by David Whitehouse, aims to stimulate visionary discussions on shaping the energy future. With a focus on decarbonization efforts, the event will explore how to achieve secure, sustainable, and affordable energy while highlighting the importance of collaboration across Europe. The event will cover topics such as scaling up supply chain capacity, managing oil and gas production, and advancing low carbon technologies including offshore wind, carbon capture, storage, and hydrogen. The four-day exhibition will feature engaging formats, panel sessions, and high-level fireside chats to encourage inclusive dialogue among young professionals and industry figures. Additionally, the event will include themed exhibition halls focusing on Energy Transition, Offshore Wind, Hydrogen, Future Skills, and Future Opportunities. Abstract submissions for technical papers are open until 28 February 2025 on the Offshore Europe website. Organized by The Offshore Europe Partnership, a joint venture between RX and the Society of Petroleum Engineers, SPE Offshore Europe 2025 promises to be a platform for driving innovation and collaboration in the offshore energy sector.
