Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a significant power transmission project valued at approximately Rs 2,800 crore in Gujarat, India. This project, known as the 'Transmission System for Green Hydrogen/Ammonia Manufacturing Potential in Mundra, Gujarat,' is set to be completed within 36 months. AESL, a part of the Adani Group, will undertake the upgrading of the Navinal (Mundra) electrical substation by installing two 765/400kV transformers and constructing a 75 km 765kV double-circuit transmission line to connect Navinal to the Bhuj substation. The development will enhance the transmission infrastructure by adding 150 circuit kilometre (cKM) of transmission lines and 3,000 megavolt-ampere (MVA) of transformation capacity. This initiative aims to support the manufacturing of green hydrogen and green ammonia in Mundra, Gujarat, emphasizing the company's commitment to sustainable energy practices. AESL's success in securing this project under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) mechanism highlights its strategic growth in the sector.
