The Adani Group reported a 50.1% increase in net profit to Rs 10,279 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year, showcasing a strong performance. The company's EBITDA reached Rs 22,570 crore, up by 32.9% YoY. Adani's portfolio includes emerging businesses like solar and wind manufacturing, airports, and roads, contributing significantly to the total EBITDA. The core infrastructure businesses, including utility, transport, and infra under Adani Enterprises Ltd, showed a growth of 41.6% YoY in the April-June quarter. The strategic focus on the infrastructure platform has provided stability and predictability, leading to a 69.98% YoY expansion in EBITDA for these businesses. Adani's solar module manufacturing business witnessed a 125% YoY rise in module sales. The utility segment and businesses like Adani Power, Adani Green Energy, and Adani Ports and SEZ reported substantial EBITDA growth. Adani Ports and SEZ signed new agreements and achieved a 29.62% increase in EBITDA. The airports segment witnessed significant growth, with passenger movements crossing 90 million for the first time and new routes and flights being added. The roads business marked its highest-ever construction during the quarter, while the hydro pump storage construction commenced.
