AM Green, a prominent energy transition solutions provider in Visakhapatnam, formerly known as Greenko ZeroC, has received pre-certification from CertifHy EU RFNBO for their green ammonia project situated in Kakinada, India. This achievement positions AM Green as the pioneering company in India to attain such recognition. The collaboration with CertifHy, along with partners Hinicio and Bureau Veritas, ensured the plant's compliance with green hydrogen production standards and EU regulations for decarbonisation. Mahesh Kolli, the founder and group president of AM Green, expressed pride in this accomplishment for the Kakinada plant, emphasizing its significance. The pre-certification process was thorough, involving meticulous assessment against CertifHy's guidelines for renewable hydrogen production. This milestone not only strengthens the clean energy supply chain from India to the EU market but also highlights the importance of adhering to stringent renewable fuel regulations.
