India's Minister of New & Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, highlighted the importance of startups in driving innovation in the green hydrogen sector during the curtain raiser of the 2nd International Conference on Green Hydrogen India 2024. Emphasizing the need for new ideas and youth involvement, Joshi stressed the significance of bringing startups into the green hydrogen mission. The event, scheduled on September 11-13, 2024, in Delhi, aims to further the green hydrogen mission with over 120 exhibitors showcasing products and technologies related to green hydrogen. With a significant allocation of Rs 19,744 crore from the government towards this mission, the conference is set to be a platform for collaboration and advancement in the green hydrogen sector. The event will also feature 150-plus national and international speakers, focusing on regions like the European Union, Australia, Singapore, and the Netherlands, with dedicated sessions to discuss developments in these areas. Organized by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy in association with the Office of the Principal Scientists, Government of India, and with partners like Ficci and Solar Energy Corporation of India, the conference is poised to drive innovation and collaboration in the green hydrogen space.
