The European Commission Commissioners arrived at the Hyderabad House venue in New Delhi on a bus powered by hydrogen fuel cell technology, developed in partnership with Tata Motors and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). This arrival marked the beginning of a two-day bilateral visit by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and members of the European College of Commissioners to India. The visit aimed to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the EU and India. During the visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Ursula von der Leyen, and discussions were held on various topics of mutual interest. The EU delegation also engaged in a bilateral cluster meeting in New Delhi, focusing on areas such as connectivity, green energy, mobility, security, and EU expansion. Both sides expressed a positive sentiment towards enhancing cooperation and collaboration in these key areas, highlighting the significance of the partnership between Europe and India in addressing global challenges.
