Gensol Engineering has secured the contract as the lowest bidder for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of India's pioneering Bio-Hydrogen project, in partnership with Matrix Gas & Renewables. This innovative project aims to convert 25 tons of bio-waste into 1 ton of hydrogen per day, representing a monumental step towards green energy in India. Valued at Rs 164 crore and set to be completed in 18 months, the project is in line with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission, focusing on transforming biomass into green hydrogen. The collaboration with Westinghouse, USA, renowned for its patented technology, underscores the commitment to utilizing advanced methods like pre-gasification plasma induced radiant energy-based gasification system for establishing the green hydrogen infrastructure. Anmol Singh Jaggi, the chairman and managing director of Gensol Engineering, expressed great pride in securing the bid for this significant project, highlighting the company's dedication to innovation, excellence, and supporting India's energy transition. By converting bio-waste into hydrogen, the project not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also aligns with the nation's renewable energy goals. Gensol Engineering, known for providing EPC and solar advisory services, has demonstrated remarkable growth, with a doubling of its consolidated net profit in the quarter ended June 2024.
