Godrej Enterprises Group is investing Rs 200 crore to further expand its manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, following a previous investment of Rs 300 crore. This expansion, known as Phase-III, aims to increase the annual capacity to 30,000 MT and support initiatives like Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The enhancements include a dust-free enclosure for exotic materials, dedicated internal bays, and extended manufacturing yards to cater to the growing demand for clean energy equipment. The company is focusing on sustainable practices by integrating Industry 4.0 for precision and reliability, introducing a 30m x 10m Advanced Heat Treatment Furnace to reduce carbon emissions, and achieving Zero Waste to Landfill certification. Hussain Shariyarr, the Executive Vice President & Business Head, Process Equipment, highlighted that this expansion will strengthen India's position in the global energy transition, offering world-class manufacturing solutions to customers worldwide. Additionally, the facility features a sea-going jetty for direct loading and transport of oversized equipment to international markets, with 70% of production currently being exported to over 40 countries across six continents.
