Greenzo Energy has introduced the 'Un Wheel' alkaline electrolyzer stack, specifically designed for green hydrogen production in India. Engineered by Indian scientists, the technology is built to function effectively in India's diverse climate conditions, covering temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. The electrolyzer boasts a lifespan of twenty years and can provide hydrogen at a pressure of thirty bar, eliminating the need for additional compressors. It includes advanced monitoring and control systems to regulate crucial parameters such as water quality, pressure levels, purification stability, temperature control, and circulation for hydrogen purity. The founder, Sandeep Agarwal, highlighted the cost-effectiveness of the electrolyzer, which utilizes indigenous alkaline water electrolysis technology with non-noble metals to reduce costs and energy consumption. The design incorporates advanced electrode materials and a unique electrolyte composition to enhance efficiency, durability, and energy efficiency through waste heat recovery. Commercially available, the 'Un Wheel' stack targets sectors like heavy manufacturing, transportation, and power as they shift towards clean energy. With a substantial order book of ₹1,400 crore, Greenzo Energy aims to form partnerships in the private and public sectors to promote green hydrogen adoption at a national level. The electrolyzer stack adheres to the highest international standards, holding ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 certifications, ensuring quality and safety.
