HORIBA India, a subsidiary of Japan's analytical equipment provider HORIBA Ltd, has unveiled its Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine test bed facility in Pune. With an investment exceeding Rs 30 crore, this facility complements the existing HORIBA India Technical Centre established in 2016. The testing capacity of the facility, reaching up to 380KW, is tailored to cater to the Indian commercial vehicle sector. This strategic move is not only set to enhance business opportunities but is also poised to make a substantial contribution to global efforts for carbon neutrality, decarbonisation, and sustainability. George Gillispie, HORIBA Energy and Environment Executive Corporate Officer, emphasized that the new facility marks a pivotal advancement towards a sustainable future and significantly supports India's green energy revolution. HORIBA, known for its presence in India with manufacturing facilities in Chakan (Pune), Nagpur (Maharashtra), and Haridwar (Uttarakhand), is making a noteworthy stride in promoting eco-friendly technology and driving the nation's green energy agenda forward.
