Hyundai Motor Company has introduced the next-generation Nexo fuel cell electric vehicle at the Seoul Mobility Show in Korea. The new mid-size SUV showcases significant advancements in hydrogen fuel cell technology, emphasizing increased range, safety enhancements, and improved performance. The Nexo comes with a redesigned exterior inspired by Hyundai's 'Art of Steel' design language, a spacious interior featuring sustainable materials, and various technological upgrades including advanced driver-assistance systems. The vehicle is designed to achieve a range of over 700 km and boasts a quick five-minute refueling time. Technical improvements such as underbody optimizations, airflow management, and ANC-R technology have been implemented to reduce drag and enhance efficiency. The Nexo also features a multi-skeleton structure and up to nine airbags for passenger and hydrogen tank protection, along with advanced driver assistance systems for collision prevention. In terms of design, the Nexo's exterior is based on the INITIUM concept, incorporating 'HTWO' Lamps as a unique design element. It will be available in six color options, adding to its aesthetic appeal. The inclusion of sound-absorbing tires and increased battery capacity further enhance the overall driving experience.
