The two sides also committed to long-term research support in clean energy projects through the India-EU Trade and Technology Council Working Group. Looking ahead, the Work Plan for the 3rd Phase of the Partnership outlines priority areas for deeper cooperation, with a significant focus on green hydrogen, offshore wind, and energy efficiency. The agenda for green hydrogen collaboration includes assessing infrastructure, regulatory and technology cooperation, and supply chain strengthening. The meeting also underscored India and the EU's engagement in international alliances like the International Solar Alliance and the International Energy Agency, showcasing a comprehensive approach to clean energy and climate diplomacy.
