Gensol Engineering and Matrix Gas and Renewables are joining forces to establish India's inaugural Green Hydrogen Valley project in Pune, Maharashtra. This initiative marks a significant step towards sustainable development, with the project set to supply green hydrogen to the specialty chemical sector in the region. Anmol Jaggi, MD of Gensol Engineering, expressed pride in leading this endeavor, highlighting the support from the Government of India and the Department of Science & Technology. The collaboration between Gensol and Matrix will extend beyond green hydrogen, encompassing green steel and green ammonia production. Chirag Kotecha of Matrix Gas and Renewables emphasized the commitment to India's net-zero goals through the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The project, facilitated by National Chemicals Laboratories in Pune, will explore various applications of green hydrogen and establish research and development facilities. Both companies secured the opportunity to set up a Green Hydrogen Generation plant in Kurkumbh region through a competitive tender process. Gensol Engineering, recognized for its EPC and solar advisory services, reported a significant increase in net profit and sales, reflecting the sector's growth potential.
