The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in India has issued a Call for Proposals to establish Centers of Excellence (CoE) focused on Green Hydrogen Mission, as part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission. This initiative aims to stimulate innovation in sustainable energy and accelerate India's shift towards energy self-sufficiency. The proposed CoEs will serve as hubs for cutting-edge research and skill development to advance India's capabilities in Green Hydrogen production, storage, and utilization. The National Green Hydrogen Mission, launched with a substantial budget, reflects India's commitment to achieving self-reliance in clean energy and reducing dependence on fossil fuel imports. The CoEs are expected to play a key role in fostering collaboration among various stakeholders to support advancements in green hydrogen research and technology, further solidifying India's position in the clean energy sector.
