The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has awarded tenders to nine companies, including Reliance Green Hydrogen and Green Chemicals, under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme. These companies will work towards the production of green hydrogen, with significant investments expected in the sector. The ministry of new and renewable energy has invited bids for a substantial green hydrogen capacity, with a total incentive of ₹2,238.59 crore allocated in this tranche.
