JSW Energy, a major private power producer in India, is gearing up to reveal its Vision 3.0 in the next few months, aiming to revise its earlier 2030 targets of 20 GW installed capacity and 40 GWh storage. This new vision will focus on higher capacity and increased investments in renewables, shifting its portfolio towards green energy. The company's current operational capacity stands at 12.2 GW, with plans for an additional 18 GW under development. By FY'26, JSW Energy aims for two-thirds of its portfolio to be from renewable sources. The company is also venturing into green hydrogen production, with a 3,800 tonnes per annum project for green steel. In terms of manufacturing, JSW Energy is establishing plants in Karnataka and Gujarat for wind turbine blades.
