Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd (KOEL) exhibited its advanced Kirloskar Industrial brand at BAUMA 2024, showcasing a range of innovative products tailored for various industrial sectors like construction, mining, agriculture, and defence. Gauri Kirloskar, the Managing Director of KOEL, highlighted the brand's focus on sustainability and advanced engineering, particularly showcasing the CEV BS-V engine as a prime example of their commitment to meeting global sustainability goals while ensuring excellent performance in construction applications. The event featured the introduction of the first-ever BS-V engines for construction equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and cranes, along with India's first CNG-powered air-cooled engine and an 1100 HP engine designed for mining purposes. Kirloskar Industrial also unveiled hybrid and hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engines, demonstrating their forward-thinking approach to technology. The newly launched CEV BS-V engines promise enhanced fuel efficiency, easier maintenance, and lower emissions, exceeding the BS-IV standards. These engines incorporate a hybrid governing system to enhance load response and are specifically engineered for heavy-duty usage, undergoing rigorous testing in challenging environments.
