The event, graced by the Minister of Women and Child Development, Science & Technology, highlighted the state's potential for renewable energy projects, focusing particularly on geothermal energy. The meeting between OIL and CESHS explored opportunities for geothermal energy development, with a strong emphasis on sustainable energy solutions in the region. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) and CESHS to foster collaboration in key areas such as Earth sciences, geothermal and hydrogen energy exploration, tunneling, and mineral technology.
