PFC, through its subsidiary PFC Consulting Limited, has set up a special purpose vehicle (SPV) named Kakinada Transmission Ltd for the development of a transmission system dedicated to green hydrogen projects in Andhra Pradesh. The SPV, established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of PFCCL, is specifically aimed at supporting green hydrogen and green ammonia projects in the Kakinada area. The transmission scheme, part of Phase I of the project, will be crucial for the successful implementation of these eco-friendly initiatives. After the bidding process is complete, PFC plans to hand over the SPV to the selected bidder for the further development of the project, indicating a key milestone in advancing sustainable energy infrastructure in the region. This strategic move not only underscores a commitment to renewable energy but also signals significant investment and technological advancement in the green hydrogen sector.
