Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh to inaugurate and lay the foundation for several infrastructure projects valued at over $2505 billion. This visit will mark Modi's first trip to Andhra Pradesh since beginning his third consecutive term in 2024. Accompanied by state leaders like Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Modi will oversee the commencement of high-impact projects aimed at enhancing the state's infrastructure and industrial capabilities. One of the significant highlights will be the groundbreaking ceremony for the NTPC Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka, Anakapalli district. With an investment of $762 million, this project is under the National Green Hydrogen Mission and is crucial for India's energy transition, targeting 1500 tonnes per day of green hydrogen production. Additionally, projects like the new railway zone, Krishnapatnam Industrial Hub, Bulk Drug Park, and Industrial Area are expected to create thousands of jobs and boost the region's economic growth. The bulk drug park in Nakkapalli, with a $220 million investment, aims to strengthen India's pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. Prime Minister Modi will engage in a roadshow and public address at Andhra University, emphasizing the significant impact of these projects on the state's economic future.
