Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to launch major projects aimed at sustainable growth and infrastructure development in the region. Projects worth over Rs 2 lakh crore were inaugurated, including the NTPC Green Energy Limited's Green Hydrogen Hub, part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission. This initiative involves a massive investment to produce green hydrogen and derivatives for export markets, aligning with India's renewable energy goals. Modi also kickstarted various road and railway projects, such as the South Coast Railway Zone headquarters and a bulk drug park, expected to create numerous jobs and boost industrial activity. The visit included a public meeting at the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds, with over 1.8 lakh attendees anticipated. Tight security and proper arrangements were emphasized to ensure the success of the Prime Minister's visit.
