Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually laid the foundation stone for various projects in Andhra Pradesh, totaling over Rs 2 lakh crore. The projects include the establishment of a new railway zone, the NTPC's integrated green hydrogen hub in Pudimadaka, and the Krishnapatnam industrial hub. The green hydrogen hub is a collaborative effort between NTPC Green Energy Ltd and the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh. This initiative is aimed at promoting clean energy solutions in the region. Another significant project is the bulk drug park in Nakkapalli, which is expected to attract substantial investments and create numerous job opportunities. During his visit, PM Modi, along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, participated in a roadshow in the port city where they were warmly received by the public. The roadshow concluded at Andhra University's engineering college ground, where a public meeting took place. This visit signifies Modi's first trip to Andhra Pradesh after winning a third consecutive term in 2024, and it highlights the government's focus on infrastructure development, investment promotion, and job creation in the state.
