The boat, designed to accommodate up to 10 passengers, boasts a maximum speed of 20 knots powered by a 600kW propulsion system integrating hydrogen fuel cells and high-voltage batteries developed by VINSSEN. This innovative project received special approval from Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy in 2023, focusing on the demonstration of a hydrogen fuel cell powered boat in collaboration with key partners like Jeonnam Technopark, Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute, and Korea Institute of Industrial Technology. The support from these partners includes technical assistance, hull stability assessment, and welding technology expertise.
