Waaree Group has begun the construction of an advanced electrolyser manufacturing facility in Valsad, Gujarat, with the groundbreaking ceremony held on 10 February, 2025. The plant, slated to commence operations with a 300 MW capacity in its initial phase, is in line with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission. The objective is to accelerate the country's shift towards clean energy by producing high-efficiency and durable electrolysers tailored for applications in industries such as steel, refining, and power generation. Additionally, the project contributes to India's pursuit of self-reliance in green hydrogen production, as Waaree has secured production-linked incentives for both electrolyser capacity and green hydrogen output under the Government of India's SIGHT scheme.
