ARMS Group, based in Dubai, has partnered with Pure Hydrogen Corporation, an Australian clean energy company, to introduce hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles in the UAE market. The collaboration is set to bring Taurus Prime Mover, Hydrogen Fuel Cell garbage trucks, and box trucks to the region, in line with the UAE's Net Zero by 2050 strategic initiative aimed at achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The agreement, outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), involves the supply of battery electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell electric commercial vehicles starting in 2025, pending ARMS Group's satisfaction with the vehicles' compliance for operation in the UAE. ARMS Group, known for its diverse portfolio in waste management, manufacturing, real estate, and other sectors, views this partnership as a step towards becoming a leading regional provider of hydrogen equipment and vehicles. The Chairman of ARMS Group Holding expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing the mission to contribute to sustainable development and clean energy solutions while supporting the UAE's commitment to decarbonization. Pure Hydrogen's Managing Director also welcomed the partnership, highlighting the alignment with the UAE government's focus on adopting clean energy alternatives and the extensive efforts that led to the signing of the MOU.
