Emirates SkyCargo, in partnership with Allied Transport Company, is set to enhance its trucking fleet in Dubai by incorporating hydrogen-powered trucks. This move, scheduled for completion by Q1 2026, signifies a significant step towards sustainable logistics operations. The introduction of five hydrogen trucks into Emirates SkyCargo's existing fleet of over 60 trucks aims to reduce the company's carbon footprint and promote better air quality. These trucks, equivalent in cargo capacity to the current diesel vehicles, will operate on hydrogen fuel and undergo refuelling at specialized stations positioned strategically in Dubai.
