In Amman, Jordan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh and HDsolar's Regional Director Zhao Shifeng signed an MoU to conduct feasibility studies for green hydrogen projects. The aim is to establish a green hydrogen project producing 400,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. This agreement signifies a crucial step in Jordan's renewable energy goals. HDsolar, with its expertise in photovoltaic energy projects globally, brings valuable experience to this partnership. Jordan has now signed 14 agreements related to green hydrogen and green ammonia production, indicating a strong commitment to expanding renewable energy investments. The country has received preliminary feasibility studies from eight investors for green hydrogen projects, with a total expected investment of $28 billion by 2030. This substantial investment demonstrates Jordan's potential to lead the region in renewable energy. The signing ceremony was attended by key figures from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and HDsolar, highlighting the significance of international cooperation in driving green energy initiatives forward.
