In Bengaluru, Karnataka, the American-based Ohmium Company launched a green hydrogen electrolyser gigafactory near Doddaballapura, a substantial step towards sustainable energy production. The factory, inaugurated by Industry Minister M B Patil and flagged off by Union Minister for Renewable Energy Prahlad Joshi, marks a significant investment of Rs 2,000 crore. Initially operating at 500 megawatts, the facility plans to scale its capacity to 2,000 megawatts gradually, offering employment opportunities.
